1. Tutoring Center

MYG is pleased to offer free, weekly tutoring at the ICSC.

The MYG Tutoring Center will be available every Sunday, from 1pm-3pm in the MYG room (upstairs in the Islamic Center). The MYG Tutoring Center consists of volunteers from the Islamic Center community who donate their time to help our youth with education. Many volunteers are products of college and graduate school and are equipped to give advice on coursework and also to create roadmaps for students’ academic goals. They can also point students to resources available to them in our community.

All students must observe the following rules;

The study hall is open to everyone, but to meet with a tutor, a student must make an appointment. In order to make an appointment, the student must send an email to Soha, MYG Coordinator (syassine@icsconline.org), indicating the date and time they would like to meet, what subjects they would like help with, and their contact information. Student may indicate a preference to meet with a specific tutor. All appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the study hall, by Saturdays at 1pm.

2. Counseling

If you or someone you know is interested in receiving spiritual/personal counseling, please email syassine@icsconline.org. We will connect you with a professional who is suited towards your needs.

3. College Mentorship

MYG has partnered up with USC’s Ansar Service Partnership and the ICSC Young Professionals Group to connect a team of college students and young professionals to MYG members for mentorship, application assistance, personal statement assistance and more! If you are interested, simply fill out the form below, and we will be happy to connect you with a mentor!
